The electric cars are coming into practical use faster than expected. Conventional or even hybrid car producers should be worried about it, because electric cars can be easily produced by new-comers.

But the electric car must be posing a far greater threat to oil giants, because the electric car will dramatically reduce the consumption of oil. Will the oil lobby not try to obstruct the use of electric cars? Shall we not need strengthen the requirement for transparency of their lobbying activities directed against better ecology?

The oil has a gigantic political meaning in the world, too. With less need for oil the importance of the Arab world for the USA will go down. Will it work positively or negatively for the interests of Israel? Russia, which has been floating up and down with rise and fall of the oil prices, may lose its international status for a long time to come.

Potential foes for the electric car are too many (even conventional car makers might join the row) and too powerful. Let us see what kind of games they are going to set about against electric car producers.
